William T. Campbell to Rev. T.J. Wilbanks, 1 March 1974


This is a transcription of a handwritten letter from William Thomas Campbell of Oswego, KS to Rev. Thomas John "T.J." Wilbanks of Texarkana, TX, dated 1 March 1974. Mr. Campbell was 90 years old at the time he wrote this letter. Dr. Wilbanks was 84.

Dear Mr. Wilbanks
Greetings.
in Reply to your letter of 2-22
will say I was glad to hear from you as you are part of my own Folks. My Parents were John & Vina Campbell
I don't Remember ever meeting any of uncle John & Aunt Poly Wilbanks family Other than John & Willie. I wonder if you are Johns Son. I think my mother People Came from Tenn
I Met uncle Harve Prock in Wright Co. Mo in the fall of 97
I was 13 yrs & met uncle Geo Procks family in Sept 1900 at Casaville Ark. Some of them may be at Honey Grove Tex
Well I'm sorry I can not tell you more were we all Come from. I am the 7th son & I have a Baby Bro in Porterville Calif he will 87 4-4-74 I was 90 2-9. I live alone. Drive my own Car. do lots fishing lots going to Church and Testifying & Preaching John 15:16
I have 4 Generations of Sons.
and enjoy life very much
would love to here from you again if you Care to write Ive been through Texercany Ark Severl yrs ago
